If I were in my beloved Virginia this ....

week-end, I would be at Rappahannock Cellers Winnery, in Huntly, Virginia, at their 10 year

Anniversary party. This year they have won the Gold Chardonnay award. Wine tastings are

so much fun. If you could look over the ridge ...you could see the Marriott Farm, in Hume, VA.

Rain and Heat

this week-end. We went for brunch. Bloody Mary's and Quiche. I really didn't feel

like going out. It was funny...I walked from the car to a store and got sun burnt, my

arms were very red in the evening. We ended up on the patio for some breZZes,

in the late afternoon, playing checkers and drinking some Mascato.

On Sunday ...

we went out for lunch, at the Lighthouse...in Ponce Inlet, FL. With tons of signs on the walls. The food is very good ! Like the best kept secret in Daytona Beach. Shrimp Baskets....Clam Baskets and the grouper Po~boy sandwich. French Fries and Onion Rings all home made.

docked there and walked around on the sand bar. Since we are in the rainy season here...it

did rain , and rain it did ! My main purpose was to take some shots of the Lighthouse....that

didn't happen.

What I love....

about the 4th of July, the back yard bbq's with friends and family. Always good food, playing
badminton. This year I am going to try grilled ribs. They might be a little primal. What I miss
abot the 4th of July, is the home town Parade....it was always grea8t fun.
